Google sends another pack of products under the knife
Bradley Horowitz wrote in the official blog of Google about the closure of a number of products, among which are even quite well-known. Here is a list:
Google Code Search - a service that provides the ability to search for open source code across the World Wide Web, along with the API will be closed on January 15, 2012.
Google Buzz will be closed for several weeks, while all the old content will remain intact, but to create new messages will no longer be. The API will also be disabled, so you can slowly remove it from applications.
Jaiku - microblogging service, absorbed by Google in 2007, will be closed on January 15, 2012.
Google Labs will be closed today.
In the near future, the social functions of iGoogle , the University Research Program for Google Search will be disabled, and the services Boutiques.com and Like.com will be integrated into Google Product Search.
