Google Maps on the WebGL engine

Google has released a new Google Maps interface based on Maps GL . In addition to a clearer three-dimensional graphics, several unique features were added to this interface, including aerial photography at 45 °, 3D buildings in map mode, less noticeable joints between map pieces, simplified access to Street View, etc.



Google Maps on WebGL works in Chrome 14+ or Firefox 8+, to launch, you need to click the "Want to try something new?" Button on the left sidebar.
