The position of the system administrator is one of the most popular, not only in the IT sphere, but also in the labor market as a whole, and there are a couple of objective reasons for this:

The threshold of entry into the profession is extremely low: it’s enough to be able to set up a workstation (PC), just understand the theory of building a LAN, and you can already safely start looking for a job.
Now there is not a single company without a computer, and the level of PC users is quite low. It is logical that the equipment needs to be administrated even without admins anywhere.
