Some time ago,
the Moscow Government opened an API on which you can check the license of a taxi driver. On the same day, a round table discussion was held in the Yandex office on the topic of disclosing these city services, in which I was fortunate to participate. At the event there was a hot controversy about what data to disclose and how to do it.
Contrary to the skepticism of some of the roundtable participants, the story continues :-) After meeting with developers and successful startups in the Department of Information Technology, they became seriously interested in open data - the city realizes that it is not up to creating a large number of beautiful and important services that the market could offer - and began a series of consultations with colleagues from industry departments and experts, so that by the end of the year, taking into account the readiness of various data arrays and the availability of demand for them, leave the roadmap om disclosure of information administered by various city services.
In this regard, we invite the habra-community to express their opinions and influence the process of selecting data for publication. Write to
dit@mos.ru , as well as to
twitter.com/emoskva (hashtag #smartmoscow) about your successes, problems and needs. In Moscow, the IT department is also always waiting for the history and presentations of start-ups on urban topics.
Key issues for discussion:1. In which industries and topics should the city open data in priority order?
2. Where should city authorities publish open data?
3. On what conditions should the city provide data?
4. Who can access the data?
5. How to ensure the quality of information disclosed by the city?
6. In what formats and protocols should the data be published?
7. Is it necessary to control the quality of services created on the basis of open data?
')
Personal questions:8. What data from the city is not enough for your project?
9. What service are you ready to create in case of disclosure of relevant data by the city?
Take the surveyAlso ask your friends and acquaintances developers to express their opinions on the topic. On this largely depends what will be the First Moscow City API Store :-)
Comments can also be posted in this topic. Representatives of the Moscow government will read them.
