At 56, Steve Jobs died - co-founder and until recently Apple CEO.
In 1976, he founded Apple with Steve Wozniak, and in the same year the company released the Apple I personal computer. At that time no one knew which giant the company would be whose first office was located in the garage.
For several decades, the company has managed to turn their devices into a real cult, and undoubtedly the main merit of this is Steve Jobs. This is not to say that the story of Apple was always cloudless. For example, in 1985, due to disagreements with Wozniak, Jobs left the company, but after 12 years he returned to bring her back to life, since Apple had serious financial problems by that time.

By 2000, Jobs took over as CEO and left him only a few months ago for health reasons. In his letter to the staff, he said: “... if the day comes when I can no longer meet my duties and expectations as CEO, I’ll be the first to let you know. Unfortunately, this day has come. ”
After it became known that Steve died, Apple’s new CEO, Tim Cook, sent a letter to the company’s staff saying:
Team,
I have to share very sad news with all of you. Steve passed away this morning.
Apple has lost a visionary creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing person. Those of us who are fortunate enough to know Steve personally and work with him have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve left a company that only he could build, and his spirit will always be the foundation of Apple.
We plan to hold a memorial event with the participation of employees of the company, which will take place in the near future. But if you want to share your thoughts, memories and condolences before we get together to honor the memory of Steve, you can send an email to rememberingsteve@apple.com.
No words can express our sadness, as well as our gratitude for the opportunity to work with Steve. We will honor his memory, devoting ourselves to the continuation of the work he loved so much.
Tim.
