Free QtQuick and QtComponents trainings from FRUCT and Nokia
Hello!
Not so long ago, the FRUCT university collaboration community, with our support, conducted a three-day Qt training course for novice programmers in Moscow. It was an interesting experience for both us and the developers who participated, so we decided to repeat the Qt-trainings. This time they will be devoted to QtQuick and QtComponents, and will be held not only in Moscow, but also in St. Petersburg and Yaroslavl. Like last time, it will be free three-day classes.
Under Habrakat you will find a detailed description of the new training, useful information for taking part in it, as well as videos from the previous Qt-training .
The new series of trainings will focus on the principles of design, graphic elements in applications and animation, the creation of simple interfaces. Work with multimedia files, components for working with GPS and network interfaces will be described. During the training, all new knowledge will be examined with examples: hello world, business card editor, RSS reader, simple media player, browser, and several other applications.

After passing this three-day training, you will get all the necessary information and, most importantly, practical application development skills using QtQuick technologies, including QML.
All that is required of you before attending the training is to have an idea of the basic concepts of programming and have little development experience in one of the popular languages (professional developers at Qt / QtQuick cannot participate in the training). In addition, you must have a registered Nokia account and, of course, the opportunity - and most importantly, the desire! - on days of training, devote several hours for independent work: this will be useful for you, and it is pleasant for the teacher. If you have a laptop, it is advisable to come along with it - just remember to install the latest version of the Qt SDK, available on qt.nokia.com .
Trainings will be held from 9:00 to 18:00. To participate, you must register on the site. Additionally, you can mark yourself in events on Habré. In the same place you can familiarize with more detailed description of the program.
To familiarize yourself with the format of the event, you can watch a video from our first training, which dealt with the main classes and tools in Qt, as well as working with tables, lists, trees, assembling mobile applications. One part of the video is right after this paragraph - the rest can be found on our YouTube channel for developers .
