2GIS opens a development office in Kiev

This is the first development office of 2GIS outside of its native city - Novosibirsk. It is planned that it will work up to 25 people.


The 2GIS Kiev office should take an important link in the cross-team development of a complex of systems for the local search market (cartography and directories of organizations). More than 20 teams are currently engaged in developing 2GIS services - almost 200 people in two offices in Novosibirsk, and in general, the company has about 2,000 employees in more than 50 offices.

In the perspectives of the 2GIS office in Kiev, there are a lot of challenging and interesting tasks, new technologies and modern methods of organizing work, as well as the opportunity for professional growth not only for ready-made specialists, but also for beginners - those who have “eyes burning”. Professionals with experience in managing a web team will have the opportunity to form their own team, as well as determine the infrastructure and influence the product development processes in their field.

About the daily. The 2GIS office is located in the central part of Kiev, in the Europe Plaza business center on Victory Square. In terms of comfort and atmosphere, the 2GIS Kiev office will be similar to the development offices in Novosibirsk . In addition, there will be traditional 2GIS buns and coffee, participation in conferences, trainings and internal seminars, flexible schedules and a full-fledged “white” social package.

As for the launch of the 2GIS product itself in Kiev - according to plans, this will happen next year, a separate office will be opened to work on the directory and map.
