The Mozilla Foundation follows in the footsteps of Webkit in supporting three-dimensional CSS transformations and is working on its own 3D engine.

Old-timers Habrahabr may remember that in July 2009 I translated and posted a message from css3.info about the appearance of such three-dimensional CSS-transformations in Webkit, thanks to which it became possible to easily concoct (in HTML and in CSS) here is the spectacular picture :

More than two years have already passed, and it is finally time for all of us to return to this topic: support for completely similar CSS properties appeared in the nightly builds of Firefox 10 (and, understandably, these will be properties with “-moz-” prefixes instead of “-webkit - ").

And even more: Linux.org.Ru reports (with reference to geek.com ) that the Mozilla Foundation is planning to create its own 3D-game engine (“Gladius”) as part of a more extensive project (“ Paladin ”) aimed at introducing 3D in the Internet, and the first example of this is RescueFox , which is comparable in its qualities to Flash games.
