Linux and desktop OS market share

Tell me, please, where can I find some fresh information about what share of the OS market is currently owned by Linux and what percentage of users prefer different Linux distributions? The share among ordinary users is of interest, although it would be nice to look at the statistics among the servers as well. Before asking a question I honestly googled. No special results. Is such information generally available?
