Today, one friend turned to me for help. He complained that he had "flew Chrome" and he could not install it. In the evening, the wife showed the same "virus" on her netbook. As it turned out, the Microsoft Security Essentials antivirus installed on both victims decided that there was no room for Google Chrome on a computer with IE, so you should call it super “password thief” and recommend taking it down :)
Of course, Microsoft has already
announced that it is a defective update of the virus database and has already released the correct update. However, what is the effect! Chrome is declared a virus, re-installation also says that the virus was downloaded, as a result, not only the browser was compromised, but the Google server from which the latest version is being downloaded!
A great move is to blacken the browser, and then quickly rehabilitate it. The only problem is that people whose Chrome has flown in a similar way are unlikely to try to install it again in the near future. As the saying goes, “there were spoons, but the sediment remained.”
