The developers of the Mozilla Firefox browser have recently released the final release of Firefox, and now the beta version of Firefox 8 has been posted. Everything is going according to plan, despite the fact that not all third-party developers are happy with this quick change of browser versions. The Mozilla team explains the need for such a “pipeline” to the fact that Firefox is not the only browser, and to successfully compete with other web browsers (read Google Chrome), you need to constantly improve your development.
Indeed, Chrome comes with an enviable frequency, and so far there is not the slightest hint that Google is going to slow down the release of new versions. So Mozilla has to try, as they say, to keep up with the times. However, not all developers have time to change their own add-ons and other software, designed to support Firefox. But, probably, third-party developers will still have to somehow adapt.
In the eighth version of “firestone” a kind of “socialization” is expected, that is, closer integration of social resources. For example, expanded work with Twitter, including the emergence of support for searching the records of users in this microblogging service. It is worth noting that the support for HTML 5 with WebGL has been expanded. Another nice feature is the ability to close a single tab in case of a failure. Now you do not need to restart the entire browser, which is annoying to some users.

Inclusion of installed add-ons by default will not be either. After installing the add-on, you will need to enable it manually. This is done to ensure better user security. After updating the browser, the user also gets the opportunity to disable add-ons in a special window that appears immediately after the update.
