And again Arduino: the printer following the user's Twitter-channel

On the basis of the Arduino are very interesting projects. Sometimes practical, sometimes - just funny. On Habré many times already published news about such projects, so there are examples. At this time, I propose to evaluate another crafts: a printer that prints messages from the Twi-tapes of a single user on toilet paper. Probably, toilet paper was chosen in order not to waste high quality writing paper on all sorts of nonsense.

The design, in addition to the Arduino controller, uses parts of the disassembled CD-ROM drive. This whole system is connected to the author's home network, and, as mentioned above, is engaged in a very important matter - it prints messages from the Twitter feed. In addition, the device monitors and RSS, which is signed by Mario Lucas (the name of our hero).

By the way, information about this device diverges over the web, along with the author’s Twitter address. Probably, he receives more and more messages, and, perhaps, the printer will soon cease to cope with its task. How it all works can be viewed in the video below.
