A survey conducted by the “
Levada Center ” clearly shows that modern technologies and communications have become much more accessible for residents of Russia.
The number of Russians who have personally had a mobile phone has increased by 38% since 2004, and people who have a home computer have increased by 14% over the same period.
The share of citizens who do not have a special idea about the Internet has decreased from 8% to 6%, 27% of the population now have access to the Internet, in contrast to 20% in 2004.

Also, there are 2% more mobile Internet users.
2011 people took part in the survey, the statistical error of such surveys does not exceed 3%.
