As always, “sources close to the company's management” reported that Nokia is now working on a new mobile operating system designed for installation on budget phones. The future OS has already received its own name: Meltemi.
It is reported that this OS is based on Linux, and heads the development department Mary McDowell (Mary McDowell), executive vice president of Nokia mobile division. As mentioned above, the new mobile operating system is designed exclusively for installation on low-cost devices from the Finnish manufacturer.
