We all know that by virtue of our mentality the use of alcohol in the office seems to the authorities as something out of the ordinary. Moreover, this point of view is shared by both the local authorities and the foreign authorities, if the company is international. Therefore, it was always interesting how people look at this business abroad, and recently I had the chance.
Danish Katsapism Phenomenon *
One of my comrades, who had a certain amount of knowledge and experience, decided to leave his homeland and went to conquer Europe, and more specifically Denmark. And a month later, talking about how he settled down and how he was given a new team, he told about what surprised him during that time. And one of the points in his story was the attitude of the authorities to alcohol and its use in the office after work.
It turns out that in Denmark the majority of IT firms do not just prohibit its use after work, but also contribute in every way to it. According to managers and HR managers, a couple of bottles of beer after work helps to rally the team, strengthens the relationship and team spirit between employees.
One of the Danish companies even introduced a consumption policy that reads “There should always be a good beer in the refrigerator,” and they brew this good beer themselves - the company’s CEO bought a small factory on this occasion.

So that's what I mean
In the office where I work, drinking alcohol in the office, even after work, is strictly prohibited. And what about this business you, dear comrades?
