Amazon introduced a new touch reader and lowered the price of a regular

Introducing its new 7-inch Android tablet Kindle Fire for $ 199, Amazon spoke about updating its line of readers.

The most expensive of them is now the Kindle Touch 3G - a touch reader with 3G support for $ 149. The Wi-Fi-only version is available for $ 99, and the price of a regular Kindle — that is, without a touch screen — is reduced to $ 79.

All three devices will have ads in the screensaver - which may partly explain why Amazon can afford to set such prices. Those who wish to have a Kindle without ads will have to pay $ 30 for a regular Kindle and $ 40 for touch devices.

Prior to that, the cheapest Kindle was worth $ 139. If the reader was not opposed to receiving "special offers" on his screensaver, Amazon reduced the price to 114 dollars.

In any case, the usual Kindle has become significantly cheaper than its main competitor - the Nook from Barnes & Noble for $ 139.

All three devices will be available for pre-order at amazon.com/kindle and begin selling on November 21.
