3D technologies of the future: Sony's Personal 3D Viewer HMZ-T1
Sony is finishing the development of a unique headset - Personal 3D Viewer HMZ-T1 - a futuristic visor that allows you to watch 3D movies and play 3D games at a new level. The model worn on the head in the manner of a Star Trek visor is equipped with two 0.7-inch OLED panels with a resolution of 1280 × 720 and headphones simulating 5.1-channel sound.
Personal 3D Viewer displays are characterized by low response time (0.01 sec), which makes it comfortable to watch movies. A user who has put on the system has the feeling that he is sitting in front of a 750-inch screen at a distance of 20 meters. The model will first be available in Japan in November 2011 at a price of about 60 thousand yen (25 thousand rubles). I want to believe that this mega-device will soon get to Russia.
