MRM-system BrandMaker: now in Russia

In the first post, as it should be, we introduce ourselves and tell a little about the company.



But first, a little background.

It so happened that no one is especially in a hurry to introduce marketers to the achievements of progress. Accountants and economists get into service all the new versions of specialized software. CRM systems are being developed for the front office. Even lawyers - and they have long been no longer clinging to volumes of legislative acts, but are looking for the necessary information in centralized databases ... But most marketers, a decade ago, that now, a simple set of tools - telephone, email and standard office programs.



Meanwhile, marketers have a pressing need for new, modern tools. In particular, in the new tools for working with the brand: when creating new promotional materials, adapting them to different regions, while tracking compliance with the corporate identity, and so on.



What exactly do you need? First of all - a single working environment that serves as a repository of information and a tool for collaboration. For this, the classic “cloud” solution is best suited - with a database located on the company's server and web applications that allow you to work with this database from any computer connected to a local network or to the Internet. Depending on the size of the company, this can be either a single server or a combination of machines with a load that is flexibly distributed between them. All data is stored on servers and all operations with them are performed. From the end user, you need only a computer with Internet access and with enough power to make the browser work normally.



In Europe, such “clouds” have been used for a long time, including to create the so-called MRM-Marketing Resource Management systems. One of the pioneers (since 2001), and now the leaders in this industry are German developers - the company BrandMaker GmbH. This year, the system began to enter the Russian market. We are official partners of the company in Russia.



In general, BrandMaker is a rather complex product, at the junction of IT and consulting. Actually, it all starts with management consulting - an audit of the client’s marketing department is performed, the basic algorithms that can be standardized and then automated using the system are distinguished. Based on the wishes of the client, an individual solution is formed (the system is modular, and its architecture is quite flexible), personnel training is being carried out and implementation is already beginning.
