The company "Trimble" announced a new mobile pocket computer "Nomad", which can be equipped with built-in GPS receiver. The novelty has a processor with a frequency of 806 MHz, built-in memory of 128 MB, Bluetooth module. Additional options allow you to connect a barcode scanner and a digital camera. “Nomad” is initially focused on industrial application and will be useful in construction, engineering, geodesy and cartography.

A 2 megapixel digital camera together with a GPS receiver allows you to simplify data collection during field work - navigation measurements can be supplemented with photographs of objects and the surrounding terrain. The built-in battery with a capacity of 5200 mA provides 15 hours of battery life, which is essential when performing various tasks away from the “civilization”.
