The essence of the negotiations - the purchase of the entire company. Thus, the Redmond giant returns to the essence of the 2008 negotiations. It was then that Jeffrey Young, the former CEO of Yahoo, refused, and from that time the company started having problems. It is worth recalling that while Microsoft offered 44.6 billion dollars for Yahoo, this amount at that time exceeded the real value of the company. Now Yahoo's capitalization is $ 18.6 billion.

Most likely, Microsoft already accurately represents how Yahoo can be used with maximum expediency. For Microsoft, such a purchase means the acquisition of several interesting projects, plus a fairly large proportion of traffic.

Generally speaking, over the past couple of years, Microsoft has received several profitable partners at once, plus bought several services that corporations need.
