Hello! Congratulations to everyone on Friday!
Today I want to present you
my regular translation of the Monoids from the textbook
Learn You a Haskell for Great Good! which is a continuation of the
previous post .
')
Once again I want to remind you that the translation is based on
this book , and is somewhat different from the
online version of the textbook .
By the way, I did not say in the previous post, to which I referred above, that one of the domestic book publishers became interested in translations back in April. So, at the end of August I finished work on the second half of the book; all translation materials have since been available in
my repository on Bitbucket , and will be in a hard copy of the Russian version of the textbook. Therefore, the impatient can read all other chapters directly from the repository. Those who wish to improve the material of the textbook, please send comments and pull requests!
A lot of work was done during the translation, and the material of the original textbook was corrected with the assistance of its author (Miran Lipovača), published by
No Starch Press and me. You can read the list of corrections
here (it is incomplete at the time of writing, since the author is a rather creative person, and, probably,
is engaged in something else ).
PS Taking this opportunity, I ask the Habr administration to correct the error in the hint
“Use habrakat to hide the big text behind the“ read more ”link” that appears when publishing a new article. After all, I agreed with the rules of registration of materials before receiving an invite! q-:
