Google.com is 14 years old

Larry Page and Sergey Brin met at Stanford University in 1995. In 1996, Larry and Sergey begin a joint development of a search engine called BackRub.
For more than a year, the BackRub system ran on Stanford servers, and ultimately its traffic exceeded the bandwidth of the university’s networks. Soon, friends come to believe that the search engine needs a new name and ultimately stop at “Google.” After receiving a check for 100 thousand dollars, on September 4, 1998, an application was submitted for registration of Google in the state of California.

whois info:
Domain Name: GOOGLE.COM

')
Well, as can be seen from the information above, the domain was registered on September 15, 1997. Perhaps this date can be called one of the birthdays of the company :)

I wish Google further prosperity!
