Moscow government opens data

The Moscow government has decided to assist entrepreneurs, whose business has a social aspect (and the rest too). As a result of discussions and conversations with the leaders of various Internet projects and their own research, it was decided to provide support in the form of providing access to various data held by the city administration.

Below is the first attempt to reveal the data of the city for developers. We are talking about the register of registered taxis, from which information can be obtained in a machine-readable form about the vehicle fleet (make, year, number) and legal carriers.

It was decided to start disclosing information from the taxi registry because of the great interest in this topic from the public and the emergence of a significant number of startups in this area (including the project that I represent ).

Information is updated in a timely manner. The service will be officially presented today at a meeting of entrepreneurs with the Minister of the Government of Moscow, the head of the department of information technologies Artem Valeryevich Ermolaev. The event will be held in the office of Yandex.
