Today I happened strange. Is there a virus on my site ????? Strange as it may seem, but for some unexplained reason, javaScript appeared in the index.html file, which the first person attempted to fool the virus into.
Kaspersky-type antiviruses started to scream in a different way when trying to access my site.
Thought number 1 - Someone hacked my site.
I turned to the hoster and got a terrible answer, saying that it was not the site that was hacked, and I picked up a virus that searches for ftp passwords on the local computer, climbs there and leaves trash there ...
')
Oh, horror, but only 3 people have the password to the site and 2 of them have the latest version of antivirus software and are completely updated, checked all Windows computers for viruses - nothing, and the third (mine) is Mac OS X.
Conclusion - the likelihood of hacking my MacBook is quite large. Despite the fact that I have all the patches installed, the security on Mac OS X, I somehow did not soared to this day.
I spent the whole day searching for antiviruses, reading information, downloading, searching for serial crack crackers and other tops (which did not lead to anything) and in the end just stupidly
BUYED VirusBarrier X4 for $ 65 !!! As it is not strange, but it turned out that the information on the broom and my time is more expensive :-)
And here I am the happy owner of the antivirus under Mac OS X (which, by the way, did not find any traces of viruses on my computer).
There is only one question left: are there really viruses under Mac OS X or is it an invention of sellers of all kinds of anti-virus programs?
