Apple has imposed a permanent ban on the sale of the Galaxy Tab in Germany

The war between Apple and Samsung is in full swing, and it does not seem that Samsung could achieve certain victories in this war. In the meantime, only Apple is celebrating a victory: this company managed to achieve the imposition of a permanent ban on the sale of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Germany. Prior to this, the ban was temporary, sales of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 were banned in Germany for the duration of the proceedings. Well, now the ban has turned from temporary to permanent. And yes, a temporary ban on the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe is still in effect, which is not particularly positive for Samsung.

Not so long ago, they banned the sale and Galaxy Tab 7.7, across Europe. The prohibition is also temporary, with a possible transformation of the status “temporary” into the status “permanent”. The device even had to be removed from the stands of Samsung at the IFA exhibition.

The agency Bloomberg reports that the design of the Galaxy Tab and the Apple iPad was not particularly compared. The patented images of the iPad and Galaxy Tab were compared. According to the judge, Samsung has made its devices very similar to the iPad, and this has broken the law. It is clear that for Samsung all this turns into losses, and company representatives have already stated that the court decision restricts innovation in design in particular and the development of the industry in general.

Litigation between Apple and Samsung is still ongoing, and so far it is not clear how long it will last. Probably, everything should be decided already this month.
