SharePoint team manager Richard Riley will visit Moscow and speak at Tech ∙ Ed Russia 2011

Today Richard Riley works as a product manager on one of Microsoft’s development teams. Portal server SharePoint, which is developed by Richard’s team, is designed to create corporate portals of any complexity for enterprises of various sizes. Since its launch in 2001, SharePoint has quickly become a popular solution in a corporate environment. Today, Microsoft SharePoint is used by the largest companies worldwide.

Richard Riley began his career as an IT specialist in the mid-1990s. After graduating from the University of Hertfordshire in the UK, Richard got a job at a small IT company Blue Arrow as a product manager. Three years later, Richard goes to work at the large agency The Corporate Services Group, in which he develops software products. In the late 90s, Richard tried his hand at a management position and headed a small software development company Mousetrap Computing Ltd as a director.

At the end of 2000, Richard joined Microsoft (a branch in the UK), where he worked as a senior consultant for almost five years, helping partners and customers to implement software products and platforms. Beginning in 2005, Richard moved to the SharePoint development team at Redmond to take the position of product group manager, where he continues to this day.

Richard Riley is an experienced specialist with a rich knowledge of the SharePoint platform. He constantly speaks at technical conferences around the world, where he talks about the latest innovations in the SharePoint platform.
