Evernote removes restrictions on the type of files for free accounts.
Life is already a rather complicated thing, so we like to simplify it whenever possible. In this regard, we are pleased to announce that we have made clearer work with file attachments for users of free accounts. As you may remember, a free account previously allowed posting only text, images, audio recordings, and PDF files in notes. Now there are no restrictions, holders of both free and premium accounts can use attachments of any type in their notes. It's simple.
Add files to Evernote A good time to remind you how to add files to your account. This feature is supported by almost any version of Evernote.

Follow the monthly quota We removed restrictions to make it more convenient for our users to store all related information in one place in a visual and searchable form. However, it is worth considering that the maximum size of notes and the available monthly volume for downloading files are still different for regular and premium accounts.
Free account holders can create a note of up to 25 megabytes in size and upload up to 60 megabytes of content per month.
For premium subscribers, the maximum volume of a note is up to 50 megabytes, and the monthly volume of downloaded notes is 1 gigabyte.
We are pleased that this innovation will allow the effective use of Evernote to a much larger number of users. In the meantime, many new features are already in operation, including those that will be available only to premium users. You can learn more about premium account features here .
