The official LinguaLeo extension is available for installation in the Google Web Store.

Expansion options

• Showing variations and popularity of translations of selected text or an individual word.
• Save the selected translation along with the context to a personal dictionary.
• Change the current translation for words from a personal dictionary.
• Enter your own translation.
• High-quality voice acting of words and individual phrases.
• Show the number of untrained words.
• View dictionary entries in any of the well-known online dictionaries:
  Google Translate, Multitran, Abbyy Lingvo, theDictionary.com, theFreeDictionary.com

The extension interface is localized into 2 languages: Russian and English.
The language is set automatically depending on the current browser language.

How to use the extension?

Very simple.
Install the extension and log in to your LinguaLeo account.
If you do not have an account - create an account .

Method 1.
Right-click on the English word → “Add to dictionary ...” → select transfer.

Method 2
Select a piece of text in English.
Click the right mouse button → “Add to dictionary ...” → select transfer.

Method 3.
Double click on the English word.

You can change the ways of working with the extension in its settings.
If the tabs were opened in the browser at the time of the installation, they should be updated so that the extension works in them. Or restart the browser itself.

Following the extension for Google Chum (note the Thai pronunciation of Google Chrome) next in line are similar toys for Firefox, Opera and ... (oh my god!) Internet Explorer! The extension for Firefox is already under development.

Beta testers have already been identified and will soon receive all the necessary instructions.
