What if ATMs were designed by interaction designers?
At the “Speak to Me” exhibition in New York, MOMA presented a new ATM concept. It was made by the same agency that developed the machines for selling the New York Metro maps.
This concept is by and large a simple automaton with a stylized touch interface containing some innovative functions. For example, he invites the user to choose a currency in those denominations in which it is more convenient for him to get it.
