The “Electronic Moscow” Program will present Moscow schoolchildren - or rather their parents - with a virtual diary system, including SMS and Internet services. They will allow parents of students to track the performance of their children, as well as quickly receive important information, such as invitations to parent meetings. Currently, the system has already been implemented in approximately 10 urban schools.
Currently, a number of Moscow schools are introducing a system of virtual diaries - SMS and Internet services. The system will allow parents of schoolchildren studying in these schools to effectively monitor the progress of their children, the developers say. With the help of accounts issued to students at school, parents will be able through the Internet or SMS service to view the current grades of children, check their homework, find out the schedule, monitor their attendance at the school, etc. In addition, the system allows you to organize sending an invitation to parental meetings and other necessary information to an email address or cell phone of parents.
The SMS and Internet services system will be implemented within the framework of the Education subsystem of the Student Card project of the Electronic Moscow Program. This subsystem will control all issues related to the organization of the educational process, including additional education or attendance control. In addition, it will be closely integrated with other project subsystems, for example, “Security” (attendance control). At the present time, the specified system of virtual diaries is being implemented as a separate project.
