Apple has achieved a ban on selling Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Germany

Yesterday on Habré was published the news that the newly appeared Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet disappeared from the exhibition stands at the IFA 2011 exhibition. Posters mentioning this device were also lost. It has been suggested that this was the work of Apple, and it turned out to be so. Like the Galaxy Tab 10.1, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 can no longer be sold in Germany, such was the decision of the court that considered Apple’s claim against Samsung.

Samsung representatives have already confirmed the fact of the prohibition of sales of Galaxy Tab 7.7 in Germany, stating that this restriction significantly reduces the possibilities of buyers in this country. Earlier, the court imposed a temporary ban on the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in 26 of the 27 countries - members of the European Union. Then the ban was left only for Germany.

The proceedings of both companies began in April of this year, and Apple was the initiator. The latter accuses Samsung of copying the design of their devices, including the iPhone and iPad. The first major victory of the Yabloko’s players was the success in court, when Samsung received a ban on the sale of its smartphones in some regions until October 13.

Then, Samsung representatives agreed to postpone the start of sales of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia until the end of September. After, as mentioned above, the court imposed a temporary ban on the sale of this tablet in Europe, then leaving the ban only for Germany. And now the situation is repeated for the Galaxy Tab 7.7.

It is unknown how long it will all continue, but this year the value of Samsung shares has already dropped by 19%.
