Samsung removed the Galaxy Tab 7.7 from its booth at IFA 2011, possibly due to a dispute with Apple

The other day, or more precisely, the day before yesterday, the news that Samsung introduced a number of new mobile devices at the IFA 2011 exhibition has slipped on Habré. Among other devices, the Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablet was also announced. Today this device disappeared from the company's booth at the exhibition. At the same time, all references to the Galaxy Tab 7.7 were removed from Samsung’s place at IFA 2011, including a poster featuring this device.

Most likely, all this was done voluntarily, and not at the direction of the court, but so far the company has not given an official explanation of the reason for such an act. Now all the slots on the stand, where this tablet has previously flaunted, are occupied by Galaxy Note Wave 3.

As previously reported, the litigation between the two companies, Apple and Samsung, led to a ban on the sale of Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Europe, it happened in August. Then the court replaced anger with mercy, and Samsung was able to sell tablets throughout Europe, except Germany. In this country, and sales, and even just advertising Galaxy Tab 10.1 is prohibited at the time of litigation.

So far, Samsung has not given an explanation of why the Galaxy Tab 7.7 tablets disappeared from IFA 2011 (the mention of this tablet was removed from the stands, or simply covered with something), but it may well be that Apple representatives have achieved their goals Galaxy Tab 7.7. At least for a while.
