Linux workshops in Yekaterinburg are canceled under pressure from Microsoft

In Yekaterinburg, on August 4, 6 and 7, 2007, master classes on Linux technologies were to be held as part of the Internet Marathon.

BUT: today, the organizers of the event (LinuxCenter.Ru and Mandriva.Ru) were refused to hold workshops at a specified site, the site owner fears that this could "adversely affect his agreement with Microsoft."

At the moment, about 200 people are registered, who, quite possibly, simply will not get to master classes, because no one thought it was possible to be without a venue.

The situation can be corrected, but for this it is necessary to find a new computer room in the next 48 hours that can accommodate 40-50 people (one or two people at a computer).
