A look at Lenovo's Honeycomb tablets at IFA 2011

We already wrote about Lenovo tablets, which were announced this year, but now at IFA 2011 we managed to get to know them better. The first Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet is a solution for the corporate sector. The design of the case is made in the style of the business notebooks of the company, besides its software filling meets all corporate security requirements.



The second tablet Lenovo IdeaPad K1 is designed for a wider range of users, that is, for end users who will use the tablet not only for business needs, but also for entertainment.

Both tablets work on the Nvidia Tegra 2 platform running Android 3.1 Honeycomb . The enclosures are made of plastic, the screens are protected by Gorilla Glass . Included with the device comes a large number of pre-installed third-party software: games and multimedia applications. Android Honeycomb interface has undergone some changes, the main of which are shown in the video.

The Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet comes bundled with a special stylus, which can be used both to control the device and to create notes. For them, installed additional software with handwriting recognition. Together with the tablet was also presented a set of accessories. Cases, covers of various colors and a small docking station with a keyboard.
