Belgians won the best video contest with smart robots

In most of the news about robots, we read about Japanese and Japanese robots. The Japanese are considered to be one of the most technologically advanced nations, and the robots here create the most diverse, for a variety of purposes. But this time at the conference on artificial intelligence, held in San Francisco, not the Japanese, but the Belgians lit up. Developers from Belgium were able to create a system of several robots capable of performing rather complex tasks. For example, pick up a certain book from a certain place.

A competition was held at the conference where participants showed a video showing the coordinated work of several robots. This whole Belgian system was named Swarmanoid, and I must say that the robots not only completed their task, but also did it very spectacularly. The video presented by the Belgians is generally more like some kind of spy detective story than demonstration materials for a serious scientific conference.

Here we have three four types of robots: flying, so to speak, intelligence. Then - a signal robot showing the main character where to go. Porters who help move the main module. Well, and the main performer, for the sake of which all this was started. In any case, the video is worth a look, the Belgians are very creative in solving the problem.
