Russia and Ukraine will not be able to receive payments. Confirmation from paypal

Recently, the press reported that paypal mistakenly included Russia and Ukraine in the list of countries where users can receive money. But there were no links to the source in paypal itself.

Yesterday I wrote to them, today I received the answer:

Thank you for contacting
Russia and Ukraine to receive payments.

I can confirm
funds from September 24 was inaccurate. We are currently endeavoring to
correct this information. While we do hope to enable Russia and Ukraine
to receive payments soon
that will happen.
