Last weekend, on August 27-28, as in 7 cities of the CIS, the
international Chrome Hackathon & Contest , organized by the
Kyiv GTUG Center , was held in Kiev, which we gladly
supported .

The event took place on the
20th floor of the cozy Kiev office of our company, which for 36 hours became almost the home of 32 Ukrainian developers (for comparison, only 17 people gathered in St. Petersburg).
')
For two days, the participants had to decide on the idea of what they would create, rally the team and present the demo version of their project in the final. Initial and draft. After that, they will have a month to perfect their product.
And on October 9, each of the teams should submit them to the Moscow office of Google on the DemoFest. The next day (October 10) at one of the most important events of the year, Google Developer Day will award the winners of the Chrome Hackathon & Contest with the long-awaited MacBook Air.
We wish the Kiev participants victory! You can read more about how the event took place on our friends site developers.org.ua (DOU):
