Today and tomorrow in the Las Vegas, at the Caesars Palace, open sessions of the
Black Hat conference will be held. It will, in particular, tell about new vulnerabilities in Mac OS X Leopard and Windows Vista (of which there are about twenty) and tools for hacking.
Among the speakers will be quite “decent” people (there are a lot of them among ordinary participants) - Richard Clark, former George W. Bush’s information security consultant, and Tony Sager, a vulnerability expert from the US National Security Agency. The latter will present a report on the development of national security standards for business use. On Thursday, Bruce Schneier will speak on safety psychology.
In addition, the conference will be awarded prizes Pwnie Awards - this is the equivalent of "Oscar" in the field of information security.
