For quite some time now, many users of the social network from Google have shown dissatisfaction with the fact that the registration here should be carried out with the indication of your real name. Usually, few of us indicate the real name / surname when registering on any resource, and some supporters of anonymity on the Web do not like Google’s policy. The problem became apparent after some accounts were frozen on Google+, the owners of which did not indicate their real names.
This situation even caused surprise - after all, why did Google so zealously follow the new rules regarding the identification of users on Google+. The situation this weekend was somewhat clarified by Eric Schmidt, who is now the chairman of the board of directors of Google. According to him, Google+ is not only a social network and, in a sense, an identification service. Products that will be released by the corporation in the future will use the same scheme for identifying users by real name / surname.

When asked by a journalist about how to act for people who do not want to indicate real names, Schmidt said that such supporters of anonymity should be remembered that registering on Google+ is voluntary. In addition, Schmidt believes that if a person does not want to use his real name on the social network from Google (for example, specifying a real name is fraught with such a danger), such a person should not use the social program itself.
Experts believe that the user identification system will be used in the future to provide the function of the most personalized search for each individual user. Well, of course, to show the most personalized advertising.
