Joke as a hint

I came across a funny joke in the network:

One old man had a farm. On her backs was a small pond, near which the apple trees grew. Once in the evening the old man decided to take a walk. With him he grabbed a bucket to pack apples.
Going to the pond, he heard a cheerful laugh, and then he saw a few bathed girls. Seeing him, they went down to the water.
One of the girls shouted to the farmer: “We will not leave the pond until you leave!”.
Starik frowned. “I came here not to look like you are swimming naked here.”
Raising the bucket, he continued: "I just came here to feed the crocodile ..."

And I thought that this is a ready memo for conducting business negotiations:
')

1. Come to the negotiations prepared ("With him, he grabbed a bucket").
2. Even if the topic of negotiations is agreed in advance (“to make apples”), get ready for surprises (“he heard a cheerful laugh, and then he saw several bathing girls”).
3. The opponent may use ultimatums (“We will not leave the pond, until you leave!”), And perhaps the best strategy is to ignore them.
4. It is better to tell the truth, but not necessarily all (“I came here not to look like you are naked here”).
5. A good bluff can save the situation (“I just came here to feed the crocodile ...”), but it must be supported by something (“Raising the bucket”).

Well, and most importantly: no less than good preparation, the ability to improvise is important in negotiations.
