Samsung launches its own messenger

Now there are (and, moreover, feel very well) several varieties of instant messengers, including clients for popular social networks. In general, the problem is to find a suitable Internet messenger, just not. Yes, and the need for new types of instant messengers, too, seems not. But Samsung decided to try releasing its own instant messaging platform. The service was named ChatON, and according to the developers, it can work on any operating system, including the OS for mobile phones.

Yes, and on a regular phone, and not on a smartphone or communicator, this service will also be launched. In addition to tete-a-tete messaging, the service allows you to communicate, so to speak, collectively, that is, in groups. You can exchange not only text messages, but also media files, including pictures, videos and more. The developers consider the main platform for the user to be the cross-platform service. It will be possible to work with ChatON both on mobile devices, and on PCs, and on ordinary phones, as mentioned above. ChatOn will be installed on all new Samsung devices supplied to stores.

The service is linked to the haton.com domain of the same name, which Samsung recently bought for $ 17,000 (the previous owner of the domain was probably the most happy about the emergence of a service with such a successful name). It is worth mentioning that the service will be not only cross-platform, but also multilingual, it is launched immediately in 120 countries, in 62 languages. ChatON will start working in early September of this year.

According to Samsung, the new service will allow the company and its products to compete with market monsters like Apple or Google. Cross-platform service will allow the company's customers, owners of Samsung gadgets, to communicate freely with each other, without taking into account which device and which operating system a colleague has.
