The St. Petersburg group of users of Google technology invites to the hackathon on Google Chrome in St. Petersburg , which will be held with the support of Google and the GTUG movement (Google Technology User Group) in Russia and the CIS on August 27 and 28, 2011 (coming weekend!)
The goal of this competition is to create new web applications and extensions for the Google Chrome browser that will make it even more user-friendly.
Key speakers from Google : Ilmari Heikkinen (Developer Programs Engineer) via video from Moscow and Mike West (Chrome Advocate) in St. Petersburg. ')
The event is free, but registration is required.
Three winners receive Mac Book Air laptops, which will be presented during the awards ceremony at Google Developer Day 2011 Russia . Additional 4th and 5th places will be awarded with valuable prizes.
