Ridley Scott will shoot the continuation of the film "Blade Runner"

Directed by Ridley Scott agreed to make the sequel to the cult film Blade Runner.

The original picture was published in 1982 and was far ahead of its time. In the early years of rental, Blade Runner barely paid for the costs of shooting and was dryly received by critics. At that time, the idea seemed too unusual that a person’s ideas about the world and its place in it might turn out to be deliberately fabricated by third parties.

But every year the popularity grew. Twenty years later, a version with an open final, according to a poll of scientists, was recognized as the best science fiction film in cinema history .

"Blade Runner" was the first experience of film adaptation of the works of Philip Dick (the novel "Do Androids Dream About Electrowaters?"). Then came “Recall All”, “Screamers”, “Minority Report” and many others. Now, thirty years after the death of the great writer and visionary, his ideas have finally entered the mainstream of mass culture and have become understandable to people. As if in the plot of his own story, the reality for 30 years has changed in accordance with the ideas of science fiction.

Shooting continued Blade Runner plan to begin in 2013. It will not work before, because even the script has not yet been written. Ridley Scott has just finished working on Prometheus (conceived as a continuation of the horror film Alien 1979 - one of the most anticipated premieres of 2012) and will be busy in some other project for the next 18 months.
