Preparations for the launch of Levenhuk-1 (part 3)
Sunny days to Habra and his inhabitants!
Meanwhile, our launch, which wehave alreadywritten about , will take place the day after tomorrow. Several months of preparation, kilometers of spent nerves and kilograms of brain cells destroyed - all for one day. We really hope that everything will go according to plan, and the game will be worth the candle.
By the way, we start at 11:00 , and not at 9:00, as previously reported. So it's time to register those who were afraid of an early start. ')
If everything goes well, we have a high quality video report. In the meantime, we bring to the attention of readers boring photos of the creation of several versions of the probe.
On Saturday morning they gathered in the Petersburg planetarium and laid out almost all their goods right in the hall.
A parachute was made from such material.
A few meters of such a strong rope will hold the shell with the hardware box.
Such a thing was made by our constructor for the signal branching - in case of broadcasting the image to the Internet. True, unfortunately, while the video capture is failing, we cannot promise a broadcast.
For our cameras, Go-Pro bought extra batteries. Now shooting should last 2-3 hours. Strange effect, by the way: with these batteries, the camera does not record sound, but only stores some kind of audio noise.
This size of our ball in a state of calm. Bought 2, just in case, and 40 liters of helium.
To show the scale: this is the throat of the ball.
It is from this foam-paste, we were told, the best way to make walls: it cuts well, keeps heat well.
On this screen 3X4 meters we will show the projection.
Moved to the apartment of one of the organizers for the trial assembly of the platform and walls.
Three polystyrene plates were used for the samples.
At first they applied the necessary components ...
painted them ...
and cut holes.
The walls were glued with a special glue that does not corrode the foam. But not this copy :)
Here the work on the clean version begins.
Neat and accurate.
We are very lucky with talented "builders".
Platform balancing.
A clean version of the "skeleton" of the main body.
Here is the loop on the ropes that connect the hull with the shell.
The probe is now in Moscow. Tomorrow he is taken to Shchelkovo. So come to the launch - see what came of it in the end.
