Ruby and Python client support in Firefox 4

In the depths of the Mozilla Foundation is developing a new Tamarin virtual machine to run ECMAScript. It is planned to include it in the fourth version of Firefox, and, in addition, there are already plans to use the source codes of this virtual machine by Adobe in new versions of the ActionScript Virtual Machine for Adobe Flash Player.

On July 25, a blog post from one of the developers added that, among the new Mozilla Foundation projects, work is underway to introduce support for IronPython and IronRuby in the Tamarin virtual machine in order to turn it into a high-performance multilingual virtual machine.

In addition, as part of the Tamarin project, work is underway to create libraries that will allow the processing of the <script> tag in other browsers, for example, in IE.
