Google acquired Motorola's mobile business for $ 12.5 billion

Google and Motorola reached an agreement on the acquisition, today the decision was agreed by the boards of directors of both companies. The agreement still has to be approved by the US authorities, after which Google can officially enter the market of mobile phone manufacturers.

Motorola was founded in the 20s of the last century. The company began its journey with the production of radio equipment. In January 2011, the company split into two companies: Motorola Solutions and Motorola Mobility. It was the last and was acquired by Google.
