Nokia announced the start of the Open C Challenge contest for the best smartphone application based on Symbian and the S60 platform, written on the basis of the Open C libraries. At the same time, it is allowed not only to create new applications, but also to rewrite existing ones.
The author, who offers the best application, will be rewarded with a cash prize of $ 20,000 and his name will appear on the Forum Nokia website. In addition, the winner will be presented at the Symbian Smartphone Show event, which will be held in October, will receive a free annual membership in the Forum Nokia PRO developer program, as well as exclusive privileges to sell their applications through the Orange Application Shop.
