Innovative authorization system

Environment: some self-made affiliate program script, ordered from some freelancer who hasn’t been responding for a long time.
TZ: Add exit button (de-authorization), which for some reason is missing.

Two hours I puzzled. In none of the several dozen script files, I found a single mention of either sessions or cookies. I puzzled until in despair I went into the tmp folder.

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you an innovative authorization system developed by some freelancer, whose name I do not give out.


I have never seen a more idiotic approach to solving such a trivial task. Correct me if you can think of something worse than that.
