The fact that Google was the object of investigation by the Federal Trade Commission, it became known at the end of June, but so far it was unknown what exactly the commission is investigating.

to the Wall Street Journal
post today, the Federal Trade Commission’s investigation focuses on Android and Google’s search services, namely, whether Google places its products and services ahead of its competitors.
According to the WSJ, the commission considers Google’s allegations that it unfairly uses the content of its competitors on its websites, while at the same time underestimating these competitors in their search results.

Google is also accused of forbidding Android device manufacturers from using the services of their competitors, such as other search tools.
For their part, Google representatives deny that they are doing something similar, and say they are happy to answer any questions from the commission about their business.
