First National Photo Award Lumix National Awards

In the creative agency Red Keds they adore photographic equipment, photographs, photo shoots and do not like banal photo contests, which is why they simply had to do something unique with this love for photo-everything.

Together with Panasonic, they created a large-scale photo and video Lumix National Awards .

“There are a few things that we fear. One of them is photo contests. This is the most popular (and beaten) game format on the Internet, which has almost every portal, every fan group in social networks, every blog in every region. Therefore, the task that we solved was to find a new reading of this tool in the modern digital hemisphere and offer our users really interesting mechanics, ”says Red Keds creative director Vasily Lebedev .

Red Keds have developed and created a website-platform for photo contests Lumix Award, which will allow to identify the best photographer of the nation and enjoy the participation in the general fun. Competition mechanics and their implementation were also thought through at Red Keds agency.

On the Lumix National Awards website in parallel, there are two large sections with competitions that will be updated once a month: “Epic Moments” and “Traditional” .

In the “Traditional” contests, participants were asked to hear the pulse of the city and photograph it, see the beauty of the Russian hinterland and “share” it for everyone.

In the “Epic Moments” contests one could show all his originality, as well as “copy-paste”, trying to repeat the most famous shots. In the “Epic moments” section, the very competitive mechanics of photobattle was implemented: the user chooses from two photos by voting. From September in the “Epic Moments” section a new creative competition “Jet Shooting” will be launched, the essence of which is to perform photo and video tasks in online mode.

Lumix National Awards is the first national photo award of such magnitude. It is designed to unite all those who like to hunt for a good frame and bask in the flash of flashes.

It doesn’t matter how long your lens is and how many types of lights you use: the premium from Red Keds is for everyone, for pros and not quite pros, for those who photograph in order to please the eye and for those who earn their living .

The site will grow and develop contests. Each new competition - with absolutely different mechanics and conditions. Each competition has its prizes and unexpected details.

Producer of the project Yevgeny Kuzmin explained the advantages and usefulness of this project for the Red Keds team:

“We needed to implement a unique game mechanics without departing from the standard rules in order to preserve and develop the project’s audience, also demonstrating the brand’s spirit and attitude towards the participants of the event. In addition, it was necessary to integrate the premium with the already existing lumix club.
On this project we have the opportunity to implement unique game mechanics, combining them into one common set of competitions. ”
